Terms and Conditions


Terms: Net 30 days upon credit approval. A signed credit application is required. Until such time as credit is approved all orders can be paid by Visa, MasterCard or Discover Card. If you prefer you order can be sent C.O.D.

Past Due Accounts: 1-1/2% per month (18% annum) will be applied on past due balances. Minimum interest charges per invoice will be $5.00. Accounts with a balance due will revert to C.O.D. until proper credit is reestablished. Any past due account will lose all special pricing programs they may be on and will be placed on regular catalog pricing. Past due accounts will not be eligible to take advantage of any promotional or sale items as long as they have a past due balance.

Sales Tax: Customer is liable for all federal, state and local taxes, and will be invoiced where applicable, unless exemption or resale certificate is completed and on file at CLAYTEX. If no certificate is on file and tax is charged no credits will be issued for tax number being furnished later.

Minimum Order Billing: There is no minimum order size however on orders under $25.00 there will be a $5.00 handling fee accessed and added to the invoice.

Transportation: All orders are F.O.B. Henrietta, TX. Normally orders under 200 lbs. will be sent UPS (prepaid) and charges added to invoice. Truck shipments are sent freight collect.

Handling Charge: All shipments are subject to a $1.50 per box handling charge.  A $9.00 service charge will be added to C.O.D. orders. C.O.D. charges are dictated by UPS and are subject to change at anytime.

Returned Checks: Accounts will be charged $50.00 for each returned check. Future orders will be shipped C.O.D. Cash or Certified Check, pending review by our credit department.
